The following project was made in Typography class.
The result was a book, based on answers to the question (of my choice):
"If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?"
The primary inspiration were Top Secret Biographic Files of fictional "patients",
from a confidential military program (like in the movie: Logan).
The book has a total of 14 pages, numbered with a barcode and all organized
with a paperclip, inside a beige document folder.
Some of the original answers I got were:
• "Immortality to see the future of mankind."
• "Have power over life, to be able to resuscitate extinct animals."
• "Go back in time, to correct mistakes or repeat certain experiences"
• "Manipulating my bodies density so I can fly or become indestructible."
• "Manipulating my bodies density so I can fly or become indestructible."
• "Breathe underwater so I can spend as much time among marine life as I please."
Each page displays the following pieces of information:
Right column:
• Photo ID (illustrative)
• Subject ID (first name)
• Age
• Sex
• Superpower (they chose, in an illustrative font)
• Their "last evaluation" as a patient under the program (illustrative)
• Categories linked to their superpower
• Associated capabilities of their superpower
• Other notable users (fictional characters in Marvel, DC, TV Series, Mythology, etc...)
Left column:
• MRI and DNA Structure (illustrative)
• Notes (scientific explanation of their superpower)
• Abilities (in-depth description of their superpower)
• Application (their answer to "and why?")
• Limitations (of their superpower)
Each page also possesses Top Secret stamps, on the top, bottom and center. As you progress through the folder, the final pages have more than one stamp, pointing out a higher secrecy of the "patients" bio.
